The research trainings were grouped into five modules: analytical aspects of contaminant monitoring (three trainings); up-scaling of bioremediation processes and modeling (two trainings). These trainings were intended primarily to help raise the research profiles of UBFC researcher staff and ESR.
The application period was open, and further details were available here: Research trainings
Additionally, management and administrative capacities were improved by organizing trainings and mutual visits to ensure the exchange of know-how and to establish relationships between partner organisations' international offices. To increase the competitiveness of UBFC in mobilizing national and international funds and to expand its knowledge on project proposal writing, project management, reporting, etc., a series of lectures and seminars were organized for UBFC researchers, PhD students, and administrative staff. All the materials from past seminars could be found here: Materials
